I. Schedule Changes and Announcements

Great Mid-Winter Classic Meet. Thank you to all of our parents and Mike Rice, our Meet Director, for running a great meet. Seahawks finished 1st with 1,395 pts., 2nd Countryside YMCA 368pts., 3rd King Fish Aquatics 249 pts., 4th MAC 212 pts., 5th PCY 203 pts., 6th Miami Valley 103 pts. Great swimming Seahawks.
No practice Thursday, January 31st (CCDS mvc champs). Note: T-2 and Sr will all have practice 5:10-6:50 a.m.
Congratulations to Stephanie Pearce who finished 13th place in 100 breast at the Southwest H.S. Classic. Great swimming Stephanie.
Friday, February 1st T-2, T-1 practice 4:30-6:30 p.m., T-2 dinner and line up 6:30-8:15 p.m., Red Black Meet 8:15-10:15 p.m. Pick up 10:35 p.m. A-2, A-3 regular practice.
Saturday, February 2nd Sr/Nat 6:30-8:45 a.m. Wts. 8:45-10:15.
T-2 8:30-10:30 a.m. Red Black Meet ( T-1, A-3, A-2) 9:45 a.m.- 12:15 p.m.
A-1 regular practice.
Escrow spending updates for the winter season will be placed in your folders this coming week. February escrow bills will also be sent via e-mail. As always, if your positive escrow balance is $150 or more per swimmer, your escrow bill will be zero. High school swimmers will be receiving bills this month due to the fact that the Senior Championships are in early March, with entries due in February. Please make sure you have enough money in your escrow account to cover championship meets, T-shirts and personalized championship caps. February SCRIPS orders are due by Friday Feb. 8.

Thanks to everyone who helped out with concessions and hospitality at the mid-winter meet including all shoppers, chefs, bakers, equipment lenders, early morning coffee makers, and workers. The food was greatly appreciated and received rave reviews.

II. Status Of Meet Entries

Milford Ares Swim Team (MAST) February Invitational; February 8-10, 2008: Entries are closed. More information will be available the week of the meet.
Northern Kentucky Clippers Mary Lou Mini Meet; February 10, 2008: This meet is for Hawks swimmers and is held at Scott High School. Entries are closed. Details will be available the week of the meet.
Ohio Regional Championship Meet; February 16-18, 2008, (Mason Rec Center): This meet should be attended by all swimmers who do not have all of their State times. Information will be available soon.
Dayton Raider Winter Invitational; February 29- March 2, 2008: Age Group swimmers will attend this meet. The coaches will pick the events. More information will be available soon.
Ohio Senior Meet: Feb.29-Mar. 2, 2008 (Miami U): All senior swimmers must attend this meet. Information will be available soon.
Ohio State Championship Meet; March 14-16, 2008 (Keating): All swimmers who have State times are required to swim at this meet. This is an important meet for our team. Some swimmers who do not have individual times will be swimming on relays.
Sectionals; March 27-30, 2008 (IUPUI): All swimmers who have Sectional cuts must attend this meet.
