I. Schedule Changes and Announcements
- We apologize for not
getting Seahawk Talk out last week…. due to computer error.
- Great start to the
meet season. Seahawks 93 swimmers had a ton of LTBS, event winners and meet
records. Outstanding team spirit and fast swimming made the coaches pumped
for the meets to come.
- Big thank you to Mike
Rice our Meet Director and all the volunteers that make our meets so great.
Two Seahawks set up to help… Alex Sigman 10 and Andrew Tengen 11 got to the
meet very early. In an effort to help out they cleaned and organized our
equipment benches and equipment room for over an hour of hard work. Great
effort guys.
- A.M. practices start
today, October 15th.
- All the T-2, Sr, Nat
swimmers did a great job in the sports study before the meet. A big thank
you to Marilyn Louis who prepared the lunch spread and made the hoagies for
all the swimmers. Lunch was great!!!
- Congratulations to
Natalie Fritz, Indian Hill, is a recognized National Merit semifinalist.
Great work Natalie!!!
- Thank you Petra Vester
for organizing the summer awards night.
- NKC Halloween meet
week.
- Halloween, October
31st practice for T-2/Sr-1, Sr-2 and Nat groups 3:35-5:30. No practice for
A-3 or T-1 on Halloween
- On Tuesday and
Thursdays the A-2 group will start flex at 5:15 which is 10 minutes earlier.
- SCRIPS orders should
be available for pickup starting wed. Oct 10. Please call Marci Wheeler at
677-5666 to work out a time to pick them up. The next order will be due
Friday Nov. 2. Start planning ahead for those holiday orders.
II. Status Of Meet Entries
- Northern Kentucky
Clippers Halloween Express; October 20-21, 2007: Directions are available on
the website.
- Cincinnati Aquatic
Club Pentathlon; Saturday, October 27, 2007: This meet is closed. More
information will be available the week of the meet.
- Riviera Swim Team Fall
Invite 2007; November 9-11, 2007: This meet is closed. Information will be
available the week of the meet.
- Mason Fall
Invitational; November 9-11, 2007: Meet information is available. All
entries are due by Monday, November 15.
- CAC Iron Hawk IMX
Meet; November 16-17, 2007 (Friday and Saturday): Entry forms are available
and are due to CAC by Thursday, November 1.
- Sycamore Val Lyons
Invitational; December 1-2, 2007: This meet is for the A1, A2, and Hawk
groups. Meet information is available. Entry forms are due back to CAC no
later than Friday, October 26.
- MAKO Speedo Holiday
Classic; December 7-9, 2007: Meet information will be available soon.
Entries will be due by Tuesday, November 6.
